Walmart Bangladesh Garment SweatShop Collapse in April 2013

Walmart has been in the news for a while now for its extreme exploitative tactics, used for manipulating all the people hooked into the system. Bangladesh has been one of their victims, again in April 2013, there has been another tragedy in this country where over 300 people have been found dead in eight-story Rana Plaza, and there are more still buried within the rubble.

It is expected that there will be more discovered dead from the fall of this frail building. There had already been a Fire in January 2013 where many people had burnt alive. And previously, in November 2012, there were a number of deaths in Walmart's Sweatshop where hundreds of people died.

A number of other major European and American brands were found in the rubble like the Children’s Place, Benetton, Cato Fashions, Mango and others which have been sourcing from these Sweatshops. Yes, Walmart is not the only one enjoying the fruits of another man's labor.

The rates paid by these companies are so low that the factory owners have no choice but to work in the worst possible environments in the world. The result is clear when there have been a number of deaths over the years, and they do not seem to stop. Cutting corners becomes necessary when the factory owners themselves do not have the resources to create a healthy environment for the people.

Using the factory owners as scape goats in the Media, allows these corporations to get away with their crimes constantly. They ensure that their systematic trap stays in place so their profiteering agenda stays on course. They have already planned their designs for the country for the next 25 years where the people are going to be used as fodder for their corporate engines of greed.

There will be more deaths in the near future when such systems remain in place, and these corporations wash their hands of their crimes.
